Our Vision: The Spartanburg Recovery Movement is a joint effort to support and remain a RECOVERY Ready community for the individuals and families battling substance use disorder.
Our Mission: Every person in Spartanburg County has the opportunity to RECOVER from substance use disorder and achieve his/her fullest potential to participate in and contribute to all aspects of life in our vibrant community.

New Recovery Services at Spartanburg County Detention Center
In October 2024, South Carolina Opioid Relief funding supported the launch of a new medication‑assisted treatment and re‑entry program at the Spartanburg County Detention Center. Since then, the program has provided life‑saving medications to more than 700 individuals and connected people with the resources and support needed to begin their recovery journey.
